"When encountering abnormal noises or jamming in a single speed freewheel, how should one resolve it?

When abnormal noises or jamming occur in a single speed freewheel, several solutions can be considered:
Check the lubrication of the freewheel and chain. Insufficient lubrication may cause abnormal noises or jamming. Try dripping some lubricating oil or chain oil onto the freewheel and chain, then rotate the crank to observe if there is still any jamming.
Inspect the coordination between the freewheel and the rear derailleur. If the spacing between the rear derailleur and the freewheel is incorrect, the chain may get stuck on the derailleur, causing the freewheel not to rotate or emit abnormal noises. In this case, adjust the spacing between the rear derailleur and the freewheel to ensure they are properly aligned.
Damaged bearings in the freewheel could also lead to abnormal noises or jamming. If bearing issues are found, it may be necessary to replace the freewheel bearings.
If none of the above methods solve the problem, consider replacing the freewheel. Severe surface wear or contamination on the freewheel surface may be the cause of abnormal noises or jamming. When replacing the new freewheel, ensure it meets the manufacturer's specifications and standards.
Additionally, if the abnormal noises or jamming are severe, or if the freewheel is damaged, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional technician promptly to avoid more serious consequences.
During the maintenance process, ensure to follow the correct procedures and adhere to safety standards. If unsure about how to proceed, it is best to consult the advice of a professional technician."
