How does a single-speed freewheel change the rider's pedaling frequency?

Single-speed freewheel cannot directly alter the rider's pedaling frequency, as it does not provide variable-speed functionality. In the case of a single-speed freewheel, the rider can indirectly influence the bicycle's speed by adjusting their pedaling cadence.
Specifically, the rider can adjust pedaling frequency in the following ways:
Increasing pedaling cadence: The rider can accelerate their pedaling frequency, pressing down on the pedals more rapidly. This action increases the speed of the single-speed freewheel, consequently boosting the bicycle's velocity.
Decreasing pedaling cadence: Conversely, the rider can slow down their pedaling frequency, applying pressure to the pedals at a more leisurely pace. This action reduces the speed of the single-speed freewheel, resulting in a slower bicycle speed.
Overall, a single-speed freewheel cannot directly alter the transmission ratio like a variable-speed system. Therefore, the rider can only indirectly adjust the bicycle's speed by varying their pedaling cadence."
